Think BIG: Imagination and the law of attraction

Sharing is caring!

Today my message is simple:

THINK BIG – DREAM BIG!

One thing you need to do if you want to be a success in any aspect of your life is to THINK BIG and DREAM BIG. When you think ‘big’, you are actually mobilising your imagination and invoking the law of attraction.

There’s a line from the song “Happy Talk” which says:

“You got to have a dream,

If you don’t have a dream,

How you gonna have a dream come true?”

It might be an old song, but the sentiment is one which transcends time and speaks a universal truth.

Imagination is one of the most powerful tools that you have to create the life that you want. In fact, without imagination, you cannot conceive of anything other than the world that already exists around you; without your imagination you would not be able to focus on anything more than what already is. The world would stagnate and cease to expand.

However, the universe cannot stagnate. It is based on expansion. It is in a constant state of expansion and this is much more than just the planets and galaxies moving away from each other. The expansion of the universe is based on a positive state of improvement, of well-being and of continually seeking things that are better.

In order for that to happen in this time/space reality that we know as earth, we humans are free to choose our preferences based on our focus and our imagination. From here, we can consciously (and subconsciously) choose things that we prefer.

All consciousness has this ability to identify a preference and by this mechanism, the law of attraction can bring these changes into their experience. Humans however, have an unlimited ability to use the power of their mind to imagine great changes, and this has enabled the human race to thrive.

Think of all the technological changes that have taken over our world in the last 200 years. The pace of change is getting faster and faster as we humans imagine greater and greater things.

Do not underestimate the power of your imagination

The law of attraction and the universe can deliver into your experience, anything that you can imagine as long as you focus on it for long enough and alter your vibration to match the vibration of the thing you want. That means allowing yourself to feel good enough about the new thing, long enough and with consistency so that the universe can deliver it in physical form.

Imagination is key. Your job is to it and allow it, but you don’t need to know how it will come. That is the job of the universe. Believe that anything is possible, and it will be.

One of the downsides to human imagination is that, in the same way that we can imagine good things we want to attract, we can also imagine all manner of disasters and negative things too. This is a problem because many of us spend more time worrying about what could or might go wrong, that we gain some strong momentum for this course of events. We worry that we are not good enough, or that we will not have enough money. We worry about things that could go wrong in our life and we spend both useful energy and too much time worrying that we forget to spend any time dreaming.

In this respect, we often use our imaginations against ourselves and sabotage the things we really want.

The trick here is to understand how the universe works (you can read more about how the law of attraction works to manifest things into your life in my article here), and then to apply this knowledge consistently by focusing on the things you want rather than the things you don’t want.

And here is where I would encourage you to THINK BIG.

The universe is full of infinite possibilities, even more than our human brains could possibly comprehend. It consists of multiple dimensions, many of which do not abide by the laws of space and time which we have adopted in this 3rd dimension. It’s vastness is impossible to truly understand and many of us struggle to make sense of the fact that we exist without end. The narrow perspective that many of us have chosen and adopted here on earth is limiting us our true ability to be the conscious, unlimited creators that we truly are.

Remember your science lessons at school? Remember how blown-away you were when you learned of the vastness of the universe: of the macrocosm of billions of galaxies that exist in an ever expanding space that could bend and has no end. I still struggle to get my head round this today.

Then think of the world that surrounds you as a human being; think about the cells in your body, the way that it works and the miracle whist allows you to grow you from a cell into the physical being you are today. It’s truly ‘awesome’.

And finally, think of the micro universe that exists in the billions of bacteria that could exist on a pin head. Have you ever wondered how a single bacteria would contemplate its place in the universe?

No wonder our human brains sometimes limit was we can take in. The reality is truly ‘mind’blowing’.

And yet all these things are possible in your imagination, and more. When you dream at night, some say that your astral self leaves your physical body and is tree to travel the universe with the power of thought. Some say that dreams are neurons firing in your brain as we try to make sense of the day. And yet our nighttime dreams seem so ‘real’ to us when we are experiencing them that we often cannot differentiate between our dream and reality at that time.

My point here is simple – our dreams and our ability to imagine situations in our head, are powerful things so use them wisely.

Dream big and do not limit your dreams by the things you currently know. In the middle ages, most ‘educated’ people were convinced that the world was flat. It was the accepted ‘fact of the time. And yet, a few people had the wisdom and intuition to trust things other than things they were told or the accepted wisdom of the time – they dared to challenge and imagine. They used their imagination and found a better thought.

Later, the human race imagined better things – they imagined steam locomotion and the railways were born; they imagined the petrol engine and cars were born; and they imagined walking on the moon and made it a reality.

Imagination is the embryo of everything.

If you settle for outcomes that are less than you imagine or allow your dreams to die, then whatever results you attain will always leave you disappointed.

You really are an unlimited, amazing human being with the power to accomplish anything you set your imagination, your focus and your belief to. So why settle for less and accept the ordinary? Why not DREAM BIG because everything starts with your dream.

Think about it:

1. Life is supposed to be fun and you really are meant to live your dreams and fulfill your goals. If you can conceive it, you can achieve it.

2. The element you are most likely lacking is not what you think it is. It isn’t the resources, or the time or the people – the thing you most likely lack most, is the belief and trust in yourself.

You already have everything you need to achieve them but you need to believe in yourself and trust.

You may not in this moment, have all the resources, time, money and people around you that you need. But what you DO HAVE, is the knowledge of how to get them. Or at least, the ability to tap into that knowledge and let your intuition and higher self guide you. But you have to give up the human trait of needing to be in control of every last detail. You need to allow yourself time to dream, time to meditate and let the universe guide you. And when you do that, you will be amazed at how you can leverage the power of the universe to manifest the things you want.

You have everything you need.

So go on….

DARE TO DREAM BIG….TODAY!

  1. Thank you Gail for the tips and encouragement. I definitely believe in the law of attraction and practice it in my daily life. Even if nothing else would come of it, dreaming and thinking positively and being kind to others just helps me feel better.

I’m in awe just thinking about how extraordinary a human being is. The human brain functioning in precision with all of the bodily functions motivates me to do something with all this awesomeness.

    All the best,

    • Hi Vanna. So glad you are using the law of attraction to build the life you want. I’m also a great believer in the power of the human being and the brain being able to control all aspects of the body, including disease too.

  2. I’ve always believed in the law of attraction. I do believe that thinking big is the only way to go. Because of the law of attraction, I have a positive attitude and big goals for the future and success.
I imagine and think big about where I am going in my internet business and in my life as well.
I do believe in myself and my ability to get what I want and then some. Quitters don’t win and winners don’t quit.
It takes patience, persistence, and hard work but the only way anything works is with action!
