Ways to raise vibrational frequency – Easy tips for everyday success

There are many ways you can raise vibrational frequency to align with Source Energy, but the question is, are you doing them?

Getting the Law of Attraction to work for you sounds simple on paper; just think positively about what you want, visualise it clearly, and wait for it to arrive.

But while the concept is straightforward, many of us unintentionally get in our own way and end up doubting it works at all.

Here’s the key: the Law of Attraction is always working. What matters is whether you’re tuned into the right vibrational frequency to receive what you’ve asked for.

Modern research supports this, showing that our thoughts and emotions affect not only our mental wellbeing but also our nervous system, energy levels and resilience. So, learning how to raise your vibration isn’t just spiritual, it’s also practical self-care.

Understanding alignment: the apple and the orange

Many people struggle with the idea of frequency, so I’m going to use an analogy.

Imagine you’ve been happily eating apples. They’re familiar and you like them. Let’s say apples vibrate at a frequency of ‘5’ – just to give it a simple number for argument’s sake.

One day, you desire something different, for example, an orange, which vibrates at a higher frequency of ‘6’. The moment you think of it, the universe lines it up for you through the Law of Attraction in the non-physical realms of infinite possibility.

But here’s the problem: your physical self is on the physical plane, still vibrating at ‘apple frequency’. The oranges are all around you as energetic potential, but you can’t see, touch, or taste them. You can also think about frequency in terms of tuning into a radio station. If you are trying to hear Classic FM, but your radio is tuned to Radio 1, then you will not hear the music you are seeking. The signal is there, but you’re not tuned in, so you can’t hear it.

At this point, you might even think the universe hasn’t answered, but it has — it’s just waiting for YOU to shift your energy to frequency 6.

The more often you think about how good the orange would taste, how vibrant it looks, and how joyful it will feel to hold it, the more you raise your vibration to match it.

At first you may only catch fleeting ‘glimpses’ of the orange (a sign, a coincidence, an inspired idea), but as you practise holding the higher frequency more often, these glimpses grow stronger. Eventually, your vibration fully shifts from 5 to 6 and the orange becomes physical and real in your life.

And then, naturally, your desires will expand again and you’ll start reaching for a banana at frequency ‘7’. Now, this analogy and the numbers used may be simple, but it illustrates how desires and manifestation work: step by joyful step, vibration by vibration.

The language of the universe is frequency, not words!

Releasing limiting beliefs

Sometimes it’s not your effort that’s missing; it’s your belief.

Even if you try to raise your vibration with positive actions, limiting beliefs can quietly pull your energy down. They run in the background like old software, often picked up in childhood or through past experiences.

Beliefs like:

  • “I’m not good enough”
  • “Money is hard to come by”
  • “Things never work out for me”

These thoughts carry low vibrations and keep you stuck at your old ‘apple frequency’. And because they’re often subconscious, you might not even realise they’re active and disrupting your conscious efforts.

You cannot just ‘affirm your way out of them’ either. That is like trying to change your computer software by sticking a Post-it note on the keyboard! But the good news is, they can be cleared.

To begin clearing them:

  • Notice patterns. Ask yourself, “What do I consistently expect to go wrong?”
  • Question them gently. Ask, “Is this belief absolutely or always true? Where did I learn it? Does it serve me now?”
  • Replace them gradually. Choose softer new thoughts that feel more believable, such as “I’m learning to trust that things can work out for me” or “I’m open to receiving support.”

Releasing old beliefs lightens your energy field and frees you to rise to the frequency of what you want. Think of it as clearing static from the radio signal so you can finally hear the music.

There is more to this which I’ll write about in another post but for now, understand that if you have limiting beliefs, you will need to do the inner work on those before your conscious creation can manifest.


Daily energy practices to raise your vibrational frequency

Appreciation
Be grateful for everything and everyone who has shaped your path so far, even if some of those people or circumstances were not always positive. See your past as steps on a ladder rather than obstacles. Making peace with where you’ve been helps you fully receive where you are now.

Thankfulness
Focus on what’s already abundant in your life. If money feels scarce, be thankful for the sun, clean water, your cosy socks, your friends. These general blessings quickly raise your vibration and take you out of your thoughts of lack or misery, helping you attract more of what you want.

Meditation
Meditation stops the noise of busy thoughts and lets the universe in. Even five minutes of slow, deep breathing can shift your energy. Imagine hanging up your thoughts on little coat pegs and letting the space between them grow. In truth, meditation is probably the best way to raise your vibration as it stops your thinking mind, which in most people, has taken over and instead of working FOR them, is now working AGAINST them, most of the time.

Self-esteem and pride in your divinity
You are a magnificent, creative, spiritual being. Speak kindly to yourself. Celebrate even the small things you’ve achieved. Each spark of self-appreciation fuels your vibration and the recognition of your true self.

Nature connection
Walk in nature. Notice birdsong, trees, sunlight on leaves. Hug a tree if you like! I often do! Nature’s energy helps calm and quiet your mind, and lifts your frequency beautifully.

Visualisation
When you visualise, focus on the feelings you’ll have when your dream becomes real. Ask:

  • What will I feel like when I achieve this?
  • Who could I help when I succeed?
  • What if I really could…?

Hold those feelings gently as you imagine the outcome but do not let those limiting beliefs and doubts creep in.

Water rituals
Water carries positive energy, which can refresh and invigorate you. Take a relaxing bath, swim, or even mindfully drink a glass of water while focusing on gratitude. Use scents, essential oils and warmth to nourish your senses and soothe your energy.

Music
Music is vibration made visible and is one of the few things that we understand as a vibration. Play your favourite uplifting songs, sing along, or dance around your kitchen. It shifts your frequency almost instantly.

Joyful activities
Do anything that sparks joy:

  • Play with your children
  • Cuddle your pets
  • Garden
  • Sing
  • Redesign your room
  • Watch a heart-warming film
    Joy is magnetically high-vibe energy.

Movement
Move your body in ways you love – dance, swim, walk, stretch, bounce, run, or even have a playful trampolining session. Exercise is linked to your physiology which is linked to your emotions and feelings. Exercise releases happy hormones and clears stagnant energy. (Dancing is my personal favourite!)


Signs of low vibration (things that take you out of alignment)

  • Complaining or constant moaning
  • Playing the victim
  • Blaming others (or yourself)
  • Holding onto anger or resentment
  • Believing life is all a competition and you are losing!

If you catch yourself doing these things, pause and gently choose a better-feeling thought. You are not at the mercy of your emotions; you are the one in control and you can choose different thoughts to experience different emotions and vibrations.

What to do when your vibration drops

It’s normal to dip sometimes. When that happens, try these quick resets:

  • Step outside for five minutes of fresh air and slow breathing
  • Listen to one uplifting song
  • Write down three things you’re grateful for
  • Do a five-minute body shake or stretch
  • Phone someone who makes you laugh

Even a tiny shift starts the momentum of positive energy flowing again.

Choose one of the practices above and try it daily for the next three days.
Notice how your energy, mood and perspective begin to shift.

Raising your vibration is not about perfection; it’s about gently tuning yourself back to the frequency of joy, again and again.

You are always connected to Source. When you lift your energy, you open the door to everything that is waiting for you.

  1. Thank you for sharing this knowledge! I have been interested in the subject, Law of Attraction, and I have been practicing to create positive vibrations. I’m glad you mentioned that knowing everything is not the solution for ultimate peace; I have been at peace with myself, and I plan to walk through nature more, meditate, and even do yoga.     I definitely have to get back to meditation, and just getting still and quiet for a period of time. It helps so much when you have cleared the mind.   3. I love this article, and actually needed to read this today. Everything you said is absolutely correct the law of attraction is always happening. Sometimes we’re too caught up in life that we lose vibration to manifest the things we want in life. Another thing that helps raise our vibration is the sun’s light. It helps repeal negative energy, and clear negativity making us vibrate to a higher vibration. I thank you for this information it really makes sense.

  4. My life has been very stressful and unfulfilling recently, and I heard I can help this issues by raising vibrational frequency. Your article had some great tips about this, and I liked how you said that the first important step is to send out my desires into the universe, and that step two is the universe responding to those desires. I had no idea this is how this worked, and I’ll keep this in mind when practicing my vibrartional alignment.
